These are  Guatemalan hand-painted naive oil paintings on canvas made by Pedros Sosof  from Santiago Atitlan in the Solola Department of Guatemala. I have known Pedro since he was about 10.  He now has two children and works hard to care for them and keep them in school.  Check below for pictures of Pedro and his children.

The Artist Pedro and his two children. I have known Pedro since he was about the age of his daughter Melisa. He spends a lot of time caring for his children and helping them with their studies.  He finds time to paint after they are asleep.
