Angelina Quic
Ixtamer and
Antonio Coche Mendoza are married and live in San Juan La Laguna
with their daughter.
I took these pictures when I visited their gallery in 2007.
Angelina paints overhead views of the market and fields
in various sizes including
miniatures .
Antonio paints more traditional views of market and women in the
market. Its fun to talk to them as they both are proud of and
support each others artistic efforts. Check each individual painting for size and
price.

Coche Mendoza - Antonio Coche
Mendoza paints a wide variety of styles. When I originally met him
and his wife, he was painting in the naive style originally found in
the area. In 2011 he also paints overheads and abstracts in
the style of his younger brother Julian (see below)

Julian
Coche Mendoza - Julian is the
original artist who developed this style of abstract painting.
His older brother Antonio Coche Mendoza and many other artists now
copy his original style.
