List of Medical & Other Supplies For Guatemala Hurricane Stan Relief

Provided by the doctors with  Clinicas Maya, puebloapueblo.org,  and various email and phone contacts with doctors in Guatemala .

MedicineMedical SuppliesBuilding Supplies, School SuppliesOther

Note:  Because of shipping costs and the changing needs of the various clinics & communities money is the preferable donation.

Good quality, carefully packed, thoughtfully selected supplies & equipment in working condition can also help.  The list was made for use in Guatemala and some things don't make sense for us to ship from US. I am working with the organizations to eliminate* those items from list. They are still needed, but buying in Guatemala makes more sense.  In interim if you have questions contact Kate Holloway at (kateholloway@hotmail.com.) or myself,  Lynn Persson at Lynn@terraexperience.com .

Shipping Logistics

November Shipment:  A container is will be shipped to Clinicas Maya and other Lake Atitlan medical facilities in mid-November from Portland Oregan.  If you have things to include please contact  Kate Holloway at  kateholloway@hotmail.com to let her know and receive more detailed mailing instructions.  Items must be received by November 10th to go in this shipment.  Ship items to:

Clinica Maya
c/o Waterbirth International
P.O Box 1400
Wilsonville, OR 97070

Each box should be marked with a code indicating who the box is from and, if more than one box is being shipped, an inventory box number (for example we would put "Terra Experience box #1"). Put a packing list of contents in each box and and email a copy of the packing list(s) to Kate Holloway kateholloway@hotmail.com. To the degree possible, boxes should be similar sized and items should be tightly packed to minimize wasted space.

January/February --- We will be heading to Guatemala and will take as much as we can (within limits of airline travel).  Please contact me, Lynn, at lynn@terraexperience.com if you have supplies. Note that our space is limited so don't send anything without contacting me.

Other -- If you know of other options for getting supplies down to Lake Atitlan medical facilities- contact Kate (kateholloway@hotmail.com.) and/or I (lynn@terraexperience.com ) and let us know.
