Josefa and her grown daughters made some beautiful hammocks for Josefina and her friends this year.

 


These hammocks are very fine and take over a day to make.  The woven hammock measures about 28" long by 17" wide. Also works for a Teddy Bear, Bitty Baby and ... there is a rumor some cats even like them.

These doll hammocks are very similar to those above, but have a jaspe or ikat design included in the design.  Josefa  told me the jaspe threads cost her more.  So these hammocks cost a bit more.
